After matriculating at King David Linksfield in 1966 I qualified as a senior primary school teacher from the Johannesburg College of Education, and in 1969 married Michael Fox. On completing my diploma I began my career as a teacher, where else but at King David Sandton.

My teaching career started initially as a secular teacher but experiencing the value and importance of Jewish education I then changed direction and focused on Jewish studies until my recent retirement after 29 years at King David Sandton. However, my involvement in education is by no means over and intend to join the ladies learning program at Ohr Sameach.

My School years and Jewish education obviously made a deep impression on me as all three of our children were also educated through the King David school system. It goes further, we have four grandchildren at King David, another 3 at Yeshiva College and our oldest granddaughter has made Aliyah.
