After leaving school I became a Receptionist. In 1971 when I was 23 I married Stan Pogorelsky.

We have three children - Howard (1975), Jo-Anne (1978) and Lauren (1986). All live in Sydney within 20 minutes of each over.

We immigrated to Sydney in 1990 and have lived here for the last 27 years.

My first job in Sydney was as a Register Operator at Woolworths St Ives.

I also volunteered at the Montifiore Jewish Aged Home and that became my career as an aged care carer which I did till the age of 65.

I then retired and have been involved in a few hobbies - Decoupage, Card Making, Crochering and Knitting...

My daily routine consists of an hour at least swimming and doing exercise in the pool.

I have two granddaughter's Mia (6 in April) and Ruby (was 4 in January) (children to Howard and Lara) and two grandsons Noah (3 in July) and Rafi (3 weeks old borne on 9th Jan 2017) - (children to Lauren and Simon Kotz).
