Marion (nee Swartz) and I made our home here in Toronto after emigrating to Canada in 1980.
Our son, Josh, was born in 1984 and he is now working for Investec in the fiels of Organizational Development and has been in London, England for the last 18 months.

I reconnected with an old girlfriend, from our days at Ulpan ( Talpiot, Jerusalem )when we were in form three.
Ruth Bloch and her husband Cecil Hershler, both from Herzlia, are very good friends of ours and they live in Vancouver where they run an NGO, called ,"Education Without Borders."
Their foundation funds a school Fezeka Senior Secondary in Gugulethu, Cape Town.
Part of the fundraising has been a Vancouver and Toronto South African Film Festival, where we have come into contact with many Old Davidians and many ex south Africans living here.

I remain in touch with some old classmates such as Des Levin, Julian Judelman and Merv Miller but am excited to see and meet many other old classmates again at our forthcoming reunion.

There is always place for criticism but I feel that we were extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity, education and social environment that our former high school provided.
My experience at King David was generally positive in that it gave me a very good basis for my further education and after finishing medical school at Wits, I have been happily working in the field of ophthalmology for the past thirty three years.

I am still travelling to Cape Town every year to visit my mom Esther, who continues to live an active social life in Sea Point, and my sister Corinne and her family, living in Camps Bay.

I greatly look forward to my annual trips to SA and have included some photos of my family including my mom, brother Martin and sister Corinne as well as those of Josh and Marion.
