The year after school I went to Israel as a volunteer, and continued with my BA studies in 1968 at Wits, followed by a H.Ed diploma.

In 1972 I married the boy from the desk next to me! We went, with our oldest child, Loren, to live in Israel 1976-81. Our son Idan was born in Israel, and our youngest, Terri , was born on our return to SA.

All our children live nearby, and with our 6 grandchildren - 5 boys and a girl - we have a really wonderful life.

After teaching matric English at KDHS for 20 years - with Rose Cohen and Doc Thomas! - I began a career in Language and Business-Writing coaching to professionals in the corporate world. The absolute highlight of my career has been the upliftment of financially disadvantaged delegates by enhancing their communication skills.

I love reading, movies, travelling and cooking.

Hard to believe we're re-connecting with our childhood friends and memories fifty years later. what a privilege!
