I left school 1966....

Did a BA degree at wits University meeting my beloved husband Gerald Blumberg.. during my final year......!we met in February 69.....he went on Aliyah.... Came back and we were married 3 months later.... A wonderful whirlwind romance.. I went back with him to israel..... We stayed on kibbutz Nachshon. for 3 months while he did ulpan.....

We then landed up on a south American moshav called Amatzyia. Small moshav, mainly families from Chile and a couple of South Africans..... Long story short. I hated it and we came back to south Africa.....

I had my first baby in 1971 Simone.... Danny my second baby was born in 1974... .....We were an incredibly happy family till

May 30th 1986...... Disaster struck....!! My precious husband Gerald was shot and killed ....life as I knew it changed.!!!!

Suddenly I became a single mother..... and brought up my 2 beautiful children.......

Before Gerald was shot and killed I had opened my interior design buisness LYNNE BLUMBERG INTERIOR DESIGN.... it was a small buisness.. But when Gerald died... It had to kick in and provide a living for us!!! I've run a highly successful interior design buisness since then.... doing all types of projects residential, corporate, retail and hospitality nationally and internationally......I have a great team of people working for me and am passionate about my work!!! Simone has, a gorgeous baby boy 14 months old called Josh, and

Danny and his wife Vicky have beautiful little girl of 2 and, a half called Hannah and Vicky's wonderful son Tim 14 years old who Danny brought up..... A great kid....... I feel so blessed to have my amazing children, gorgeous kiddies a wonderful extended family great friends and a very rewarding career..........
