Career:-
First year after school I completed military training at Potchefstroom and Walvis Bay.
Then became articled at Scher Abramson and studied for CTA at Wits.
After completing articles, joined Glass Arenson as an audit manager and on passing the board exam became a partner.
I have been in practice since then.
In 2003, I left the firm and commenced practising for my own account on the West Rand.
In 2014 I ceased to be a practitioner and since then act as a consultant to the practice and its clients.

Family:-
In December 1972, I married Ilona Satill at Berea Shul.
We lived in Randburg where our two children, Heidi and Mark, were born in 1975 and 1980 respectively.
In 1983, we moved to Victory Park where our children attended King David School.
Heidi married David Aronowitz in 2006 and has three sons.
She has spent the last nineteen years working for ElAl airlines where she manages ticketing and reservations.
David is the financial director of a financial services company. Mark married Romy Kangisser in 2007 and they have two daughters.
Mark runs a business importing and distributing security products and Romy is a teacher at King David Linksfield Pre-Primary School.
Sadly my wife Ilona passed away in 2014. She had been ill for a period of time, but her passing was very sudden and not related to her illness.
I am blessed to have my children and grandchildren around me all the time and i see them on a daily basis.
